Park Ridge 2026 Board of Directors Ballot

There are two (2) open Board seats to be filled this year. These new Directors will be elected at the Annual Homeowners Meeting on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Taylor Senior Center (1457 State Hwy 605, Taylor, AL). You can vote online before the meeting, or in person at the meeting.

Meet the Candidates

Jimmy Schermerhorn

I have been a homeowner in our community for eight years, where I live with my wife and family. Professionally, I have worked as a Territory Manager for Ecolab for 13 years, I am a licensed Realtor, and I previously owned and operated a national home remodeling franchise. This background gives me extensive experience in property values, construction, budgeting, project management, and neighborhood standards. I also bring past governance experience from serving on the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) both here and in our previous community in Texas. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, spending time outdoors with my family, worship leadership, and theater performance. I am interested in serving on the Board to help maintain common areas, protect property values, ensure fair and consistent covenant enforcement, and bring a practical, objective perspective focused on open communication and doing what is best for our entire neighborhood.

Keith Nelson

I have lived in Park Ridge for five years with my family. Outside of spending time with family, I love anything outdoors, college football, going to the beach, and relaxing at our neighborhood pools. I have served on the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) for two years and have also been involved with the Yard of the Month program. I am interested in serving on the Board because I enjoy being involved in our community, ensuring our neighborhood remains safe, fun, and top-of-mind for prospective homebuyers. My key priorities include holding landscapers and pool maintenance vendors accountable, adding shade at the Phase 2 pool, and establishing stronger communication to hear and address resident concerns directly.

Amanda Tarnoczy

I’m a mom of three and a military spouse, and creating a strong sense of home and community has always been important to me. While our family recently moved to Dothan, I’ve been visiting the area to spend time with family for the past 14 years, so it has felt familiar long before we officially called it home. Professionally, my background is in executive support and operations, where organization, communication, problem-solving, and bringing people together are a big part of what I do. Outside of work, I love traveling, photography, the beach, home projects, and supporting my kids in the things they love. I’ve owned homes in multiple communities, previously served on an HOA Board and Engagement Committee, and still own rental property in Tennessee, which has given me a variety of perspectives as both a resident and property owner. I’m interested in serving on the Board because I’d love to help strengthen community engagement, build more connection among neighbors, make the most of the amenities we already have, and find thoughtful ways to continue improving our neighborhood for everyone who calls it home.

Amelia Bullock

I am a wife and mom who has lived in Park Ridge for several years, working in healthcare while running two local small businesses. In my spare time, I enjoy staying active, taking on home projects, spending time with family, and connecting with my neighbors. As a current HOA Board member, I have hands-on experience with our community’s finances, maintenance issues, policies, and homeowner concerns. I am eager to continue serving on the Board to ensure decision-making is fair, open, and focused on the long-term best interest of all homeowners. My priorities are improving transparency around HOA spending and Board decisions, fostering community events, maintaining common areas and pools, and ensuring every Board member and homeowner has an equal voice.

Voting Instructions

  • Cast your vote for up to two (2) candidates by checking the box next to their name.

  • You must select at least one (1) candidate. Ballots with more than two (2) selections will be rejected.

  • Only one ballot per lot may be submitted. Multiple owners at the same lot may not each vote.

  • Homeowner Account # and Email must match what is registered on the CINC Owners Portal/CHS app or the ballot will be rejected.

  • Any incomplete ballot with unclear or illegible information or markings may be rejected and excluded from this meeting and related votes.

  • Online Voting available until September 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

  • If you attend the Annual Meeting and have voted ONLINE, you may not vote again unless you notify Management in writing of your wish to cancel your proxy vote before the meeting begins.
